Why is America's political leadership trying to cut Grandma's Medicare while giving away $10 Billion in free money to the wealthiest, most destructive corporations to ever exist? Every year, we hand out $10 BILLION in taxpayer subsidies to Big Oil, Gas & Coal - including Exxon, Shell and Chevron - but our austerity-loving politicians are taking aim at Medicare instead. WTF!?
ENOUGH. Tell Congress and President Obama that it's time to stop fueling climate disaster on taxpayers' dime while leaving the greatest generation out to dry!
How can we even be talking about raiding Social Security and Medicare - the greatest cost-saving social necessities in American history - at the same time we're literally giving out free money to the richest companies that have ever existed in world history? Just. Plain. Wrong.
We're not going to let either party bail out banks and fossil fuel companies while telling us we can't afford Grandma's medicine. We bet we can 10,000 of you that are ready to let the world know you feel the same way.
Cut Big Oil's federal allowance - and don't you dare touch the New Deal in the process.
