Tennessee ranked second only to the extremist Scott Walker in job losses last month. The GOP-controlled legislature ignored their responsibility to create jobs and economic growth. Instead they put all their efforts and energies into maligning our teachers, promoting wild-eyed conspiracy theories, and giving special breaks to the wealthy corporate special interests that prop them up.

I know times are tough, but unless we make investments in building our base of Democratic supporters, we'll never be able to get back to a government focused on middle class Tennesseans like you.
