Last week the Senate voted to keep tax cuts for those making under $250,000 a year. Now the House is getting ready to vote on an extension of the Bush-era tax cuts, but Republicans like Rep. Fincher are refusing to pass a middle-class tax break unless the wealthy get a payoff.
The Republican plan is incredibly unpopular with the public, but not that many voters even know this vote is happening now.
