New ad: 'What' - Indiana Gov. Daniels in his own words, opposing Right t...
1/25/12
It Seems Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) Indiana has no problem LYING ! This is what the Republican Party has become. We must not let them destroy the middle class. Yet, we must be inclusive. Try to extend them a courtesy, that they do not extend to you. Loving Kindness ! Be gentle but firm. Remember Adolph Hitler, proposed and got rid of all Labor Unions in Germany before World War II broke out ! Think about it.
Daniels has entered the national stage as an angry opponent of workers acting collectively. He may have seemed mild-mannered in a speech well-received by right-wing pundits, but that manner is belied by his efforts to shut down the basic institutions of democracy in Indiana. Daniels, a lame-duck governor who seems to be spending a lot more time thinking about Washington than about getting Hoosiers back to work, ought to follow the lead of President Obama and listen to working people rather than CEOs.
I received the following from my friend in Paducah Kentucky:
"Remember Adolph Hitler, proposed and got rid of all Labor Unions in Germany before World War II broke out!" Is there ANYTHING that happens that rates a comparison to HITLER ? Yes, The Republican Party. Most think that the right to work law is an end-all, be-all. It doesn't eliminate unions altogether, thank God. They get wonderful representation, and Union Stewards have told me that they must give equal representation to those who choose not to join the Union. You treat the union membership as if it ranks on the level of military service and It does. For what it is worth, implementing right to work will do more for bringing Sweat shop jobs to Indiana than keeping it as a union state. They may pay less, but that's what it is all about. Unions only guarantee safety and descent treatment. Remember Detroit ? Who can forget it ? By the way, I think we have entirely too many GREAT WORKERS who are unemployed because of Republican greed ! And all of those are...guess what...GREAT UNION MEMBERS!
