Rep. Andy Holt(R) Wants to Pick His Own Replacement !

After reading the Weakley County Press, our Local newspaper. Frankly I was appalled !

It seems our newly elected District#76 State Representative, wanted to resign from his County Commissioners job, This too an elected office. However there was a contingency/demand. Rep. Holt wanted to pick and choose his own replacement. How dare you Mr. Holt ! It was brought to his attention, by Chairman, Jimmy Westbrook that the County Commission did not operate in that manner. This writer blogged sometime ago, Click below http://wwwsecondchance.blogspot.com/2011/07/meet-real-andy-holt-not-good-evil.html that Rep.Holt should not hold both positions and that he should resign one of them. Or a better idea now, that he might resign both ! Evidently there is no legality that prevents this two elected job scenario ? However, it seems to this writer there is something morally wrong with this ? It seems Mr. Holt is really very out of touch with his constituency. I do not know Bobby Dunlap, his named replacement, he may be a fine choice or a bad choice, it is just not Mr. Holt`s choice that counts/matters ! Thanks to Jimmy Westbrook Chairman of the County Commission, it will be done correctly. If I lived in Carroll County, I would be demanding his resignation from the 76th. State Representatives job !

I have received the following e-mail`s from Rep. Holt, since publishing my blog about him. His arrogance is only outraged by his ego ! I was so hoping that Mr. Holt would be a great Representative ! He is Not ! Evidently, it does`nt pay to disagree with Rep.Holt ? No further comment is necessary. And please keep writing more and more about me. Oh, and please keep being a liberal mouth-piece for Senator Herron...it continues to ensure more and more Conservative wins in our region.
