Cong. John Tanner, District#8~Tennessee Voted Against Senior`s !

On Sunday, the House passed the bill that will bring meaningful health insurance reform to millions of older Americans by a narrow margin. 220 Congress members stood up and voted YES on critical provisions to improve health insurance reform for older Americans. 211 sided with the insurance industry and their multi-million dollar campaign to block reform and voted NO.

Though the fight to pass the next stage of health care reform will now move to the Senate, Sunday's vote was a big step forward for reform that will strengthen and improve Medicare, provide relief from unaffordable insurance coverage, and weed out waste, fraud, and abuse.
