Health Care at Last ! Democrats do It ! Now on to Jobs, Jobs, Jobs !

Health Care Passed by the Senate 60-39...along Party Lines !

By now, I am sure you have heard that we have a health care bill passed in the senate by a vote of 60 votes for and 39 votes against. Senator Jim Bunning(R)Kentucky did not vote ? (58) votes were democrat, (2) votes were independents, (39) votes were republican ! After a long and hard fight, the American people have won one ! The republicans were united to the end. Our two Senators from Tennessee, Lamar Alexander(R)and Bob Corker(R), did not waiver, they once again voted against Health Care for Tennesseans. So sad ! So to all Tennesseans, I say congratulations and Merry Christmas, You gave yourself a great Christmas present called Health Care ! Make no mistake, you`ll pay for it, but, remember you pay for everything, including Alexander and Corker`s insurance ! Perhaps it is time to change Senators ! It will give you all of Tennessee's elected officials. Write them and tell them of your displeasure or pleasure in their votes ! In our District#8-Tennessee Congressional District, John Tanner is retiring. Yesterday, this writer endorsed State Senator Roy Herron of Dresden for this key position. Roy is a dedicated public official and a loving father and husband. I cannot say or praise him enough ! I urge you and yours to help aid and assist him in his campaign. Roy`s first issue of a statement in regard to his/our campaign was, JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. I agree completely ! Jobs, Jobs, Jobs ! A good start would be with the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company Plant in Union City Tennessee.
